girls to ladies: Daddy Daughter Dance

About the Event
Girls to Ladies: Daddy Daughter Dance is a family-centered celebration that brings fathers, father figures, daughters, families, and the broader community together for an evening of food, music, dancing, photos, and meaningful connection. While the event centers the bond between fathers/father figures and daughters, Angela noted that everyone is welcome.

The event is designed to create positive memories for children and families while surrounding youth with love, joy, and community support. Past notes mention full-course meals, photos, dancing, a daddy-daughter dance-off, and special touches like thrones and crowns for the daughters. Children attend for free, helping make the event accessible while ensuring young people can enjoy a beautiful, affirming experience.

The heart of the event is helping young people walk into the school year with confidence, dignity, and a sense that their village is behind them.
